Gallery images

First creative content.

Content has now been uploaded onto the new-look Wilderness Trout website.

With a focus on art and illustration, it seemed a good idea to start by loading content on to the Gallery page. To get the ball rolling, the first images are a series of my earlier trout studies. They reflect a mixture of mediums, from coloured pencil to oil paint. I’ve even included some of my very old airbrush paintings.

As time permits, I will add other examples of artwork, including line-illustrations of aquatic invertebrates that were created for signage projects and education programmes.

In addition the Gallery will host examples of my digital art. This is an approach I am having fun exploring and believe it offers huge creative potential. The concept of drawing and painting directly onto a digital tablet creates enormous opportunities but it also presents a few challenges. The biggest is adapting to drawing on the tablet while looking at the screen!

Look out for further updates as Wilderness Trout takes shape.
